Introduction of Photoshop Elements 8
Prerequisite: Must have general knowledge of Windows Operating System (browse folders, right click, copy/paste)This course is designed for anyone with a desire to learn how to manipulate and enhance photos using Photoshop Elements. No previous experience with Photoshop is necessary. We will discuss the main workspace and toolbars. Subjects covered include: opening and saving an image, workspace, toolbar, preference and introduce layers.
Cost is $35, includes one night of instruction and matirials. A laptop is not required for this class.
Photoshop Elements 8 Project Workshops
Prerequisite: Must have taken the beginning PSE8 class or have experience working with PSE8This course is designed for anyone with a desire to learn how to manipulate and enhance photos using Photoshop Elements 8 Editor. Project classes are designed to build your Photoshop skills. New tools or techniques will be introduced at each class. Projects TBD. Cost is dependent on project. A laptop with a mouse and Photoshop Elements is required. A few laptops will be available for the class, but must be requested at time of registration and limited to availability.
Photoshop Elements Project Class - Layers
Prerequisite: Must have taken the beginning PSE8 class or have experience working with PSE8
In this class we will be exploring and working with layers to make a simple collage. You will build your skills as you learn how to add multiple photos to a page in different sizes. You will also learn how to improve and enhance your photos. It's great to be able to add a group of photos to a scrapbook page or even make a collage of photos for a gift. Join us as we learn together. You will be given practice photos to work with during class and a take home packet will be a great resource as you practice what you learned with photos, tips and walk through instructions. A laptop with a mouse and Photoshop Elements is required. A few laptops will be available for the class, but must be requested at time of registration and limited to availability.
Photoshop Elements Project Class - Colors
Prerequisite: Must have taken the beginning PSE8 class or have experience working with PSE8
In this class you will learn how to enhance your photos using color correction. Together we will learn how to create a black and white, sepia, and toned image. We will also work with layers to create a black and white image with a color accent. You will be given practice photos to work with during class and a take home packet will be a great resource as you practice what you learned with photos, tips and walk through instructions.
